Privacy.

What this site and the firm collect, why, and who else handles it.

Effective October 22, 2026

This page has two parts. The first covers this website and the scheduling page it links to. The second is the privacy notice for clients of Life Story Wealth Planning LLC.

Part 1: This website

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies, no analytics, and no third-party tracking scripts. Its fonts are hosted on the site itself.

What is collected

  • Information you choose to send. If you email the firm, it receives your name, email address, and whatever you write. If you book a call, the scheduling page collects your name, email address, phone number, the time you pick, and any note or guests you add.
  • Basic server logs. The company that hosts this site automatically records technical details such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running.

How it is used

To reply to you, to schedule and hold the call you booked, and to keep the records that investment advisers are required to keep. The firm does not sell or rent your information, does not use it for advertising, and does not add you to any mailing list unless you ask.

Who else handles it

A small number of service providers handle information on the firm's behalf: Cal.com (scheduling), Google Workspace (email and calendar), and the website's hosting provider. Information you enter on the scheduling page is also covered by Cal.com's own privacy policy.

Recordkeeping

As a registered investment adviser, the firm must keep business communications, including emails and booking requests, for the periods regulators require, and those records may be reviewed by regulators.

Please do not send sensitive information

Email and booking notes are not secure. Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, or passwords through them. If the firm needs sensitive information, it will arrange a secure way to receive it.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and the firm does not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can ask what information the firm holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where the firm is not required to keep it. Write to alex@lifestorywp.com.

Part 2: Client privacy notice

Life Story Wealth Planning LLC ("LSWP") recognizes that our relationships with current and prospective clients are based on integrity and trust. We work hard to maintain your privacy and to preserve the private nature of our relationship with you. We place the highest value on the information you share with us. We will not sell your personal information.

We want our clients to understand what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your personal information.

Why we collect your information

We gather information about you so that we can:

  • Help design and implement the investment management services we provide you; and
  • Comply with the federal and state laws and regulations that govern us.

What information we collect and maintain

We may collect the following types of "nonpublic personal information" about you:

  • Information from our initial meeting or subsequent consultations about your identity, such as your name, address, Social Security number, date of birth, and financial information;
  • Information that we generate to service your financial needs; and
  • Information that we may receive from third parties in connection with the services we provide you.

What information we disclose

We are permitted by law to disclose nonpublic personal information about you to unaffiliated third parties in certain circumstances. LSWP may disclose a client's nonpublic personal information: (1) to individuals or entities not affiliated with LSWP that assist in the supervision or management of your account(s), such as the account custodian, record keeper, or attorney; (2) to service providers contracted by us so that we can perform our duties under the client's engagement with LSWP, such as client management systems, archiving technology vendors, and cloud service providers; (3) to your authorized representative or power of attorney; (4) when we receive your prior consent; (5) in connection with a proposed or actual sale, merger, or transfer of all or a portion of our business; and (6) as otherwise permitted by applicable federal and state privacy regulations.

If LSWP changes its client privacy policy in a way that would allow it to disclose nonpublic personal information not covered under applicable law, LSWP will give its clients the opportunity to opt out of that disclosure.

How we protect your personal information

We restrict access to client information to those who need it to carry out their business functions. We safeguard client information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or use, and we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your confidential personal information. Arrangements with companies or independent contractors not affiliated with LSWP are subject to confidentiality agreements.

Former clients

If we stop providing services to you, this policy continues to apply, and we continue to treat your nonpublic personal information with strict confidentiality. We keep records about former clients for the retention period required by law.

Please direct any questions about these policies and procedures to Alex Hilbert, Chief Compliance Officer of LSWP, at alex@lifestorywp.com.
